Overview As a Sr. Financial Analyst – Government Compliance & Finance, you will hold a critical role in ensuring compliance with government regulations as the liaison between CAES by Honeywell and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, computing government rate packages, preparing audit responses, and providing insights to support strategic decision‑making. Your expertise in government compliance, financial analysis, and audit response will be instrumental in driving the success of our government contracts and ensuring financial transparency and accountability. Location options include Clearwater, FL; Lansdale, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Diego, CA; and San Jose, CA. No relocation is available for this role.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the analysis and preparation of annual incurred cost proposals, forward pricing rate proposals, unallowable reviews pertaining to final claimed cost, and primary interface with DCAA audit of these proposals.

Responsible for the preparation of regular rate monitoring reports, including variance analysis, data analytics and trending.

Support time‑charging activities reinforcing strong internal controls and monitoring of labor compliance.

Support SAP rate maintenance and validation for Aerospace CAS compliant segments.

Support cross‑functionally government compliance and finance matters, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.

3‑5+ years of accounting/financial analysis experience with an emphasis in cost accounting.

Strong personal computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by U.S. export laws. Eligible personnel must be a “U.S. Person” under U.S. export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong ERP experience.

Experience with FAR, CAS and U.S. Government compliance is desired.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

CPA and/or Master’s degree is a plus.

Government contract accounting considered a plus.

Strong financial and business analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Independent, self‑starter with a strong work ethic and high motivation, able to contribute to a positive team attitude.

Strong bias for action; results‑oriented with an ability to meet tight deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating and collaborating across organizational or functional boundaries.

Six Sigma certified or trained is preferred.

Salary Range Base Salary: $105,000/year to $135,000/year. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
