Overview
The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities
Strong solid understanding of the Big Data architecture and the ability to troubleshoot performance and/or development issues on Hadoop (Cloudera preferably) Hands-on experience working with Hive, Impala and HBase for data curation/conformance related work Hands-on experience in migration projects with specialization in Oracle DB Strong background knowledge in Java or Python Experience with Spark/Storm/Kafka or equivalent streaming/batch processing and event-based messaging Strong data analysis skills and the ability to slice and dice the data as needed for business reporting Qualifications
6+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role Must have 6+ years of experience preferably in Financial domain Previous experience as a big data engineer Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases including Redis and MongoDB Familiarity with Mesos, AWS, and Docker tools Excellent project management skills Good communication skills Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues Education
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in computer engineering or computer science Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
