Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Patrols

San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This flex part‑time position offers unmatched access to hands‑on experience and growth opportunities. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter unwanted incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and assist with access control and badge verification.

Saturday, 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM Type:

What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites.
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education.
Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams.
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service.
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises.
Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols, maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and report irregularities or security concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Availability across various days and shifts.
Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company.
Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles).
Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Preferred customer service experience.
Preferred access control or badge experience.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements subject to state and local regulations.
A valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
