Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Modeler providing support to the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division (C3BM). Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. C3BM’s main efforts are Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime and multiple acquisitions consisting of both the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years working in the DoD sector OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder, Intermediate Certification Experience in SysML model creation. Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architect (highly desired). Experience with Dassault software (3DExperience, Enovia, Catia) (desired). Responsibilities
The Systems Modeler will apply broad theoretical and practical knowledge of systems-based engineering to the acquisition process. The role focuses on creating, integrating, and managing SysML models within Cameo Enterprise Architect and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and acquisition program requirements. Demonstrate expertise in Cameo Enterprise Architect to create SysML diagrams capturing mission threads, requirements, and architecture information. Create templates to support capture of information necessary for SysML models. Develop model structure, taxonomy, orthology, and other attributes, leveraging enterprise architecture frameworks such as DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF). Assist program office teams and personnel with integration into the digital environment. Convert SysML models from other applications into Cameo Enterprise Architect. Establish traceability between Cameo and Enovia data, including use of middleware when required. Interface with PMO staff, end-user communities, and stakeholder representatives to report findings and project status. Create, review, and provide input to acquisition artifacts including requirements, program plans, milestone documentation, and system models. About Astrion
