We’re looking for a hands‑on Sanitation Supervisor to lead our 3rd‑shift team and ensure the facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance. You’ll oversee nightly sanitation operations, verify cleaning effectiveness, and help keep our production areas safe, audit‑ready, and compliant with FDA, SQF, and ODA standards.

Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Additional compensation types Annual Bonus

Schedule Sunday–Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

Lead and support the 3rd‑shift sanitation crew to complete all cleaning tasks on schedule.

Oversee cleaning of equipment, production areas, and support spaces in line with the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

Train and coach team members on proper cleaning, chemical safety, PPE use, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Perform pre‑op and post‑op inspections, ATP and micro swabbing to verify sanitation effectiveness.

Maintain accurate sanitation records, chemical usage logs, and verification data for audit readiness.

Partner with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve sanitation issues and drive continuous improvement.

Manage sanitation supply inventory and work with vendors to ensure adequate stock.

Lead root‑cause investigations for sanitation‑related non‑conformances.

Promote a strong culture of food safety, employee safety, and accountability.

Qualifications

3–5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing or processing facility.

At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs, and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 117, SQF Edition 9).

Ability to read and interpret sanitation procedures and safety data sheets (SDS).

Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Flexibility to work overnight and adjust to production schedules.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
