is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a
Calibration Technician
for a prominent client of ours. This position is in
North Chicago, IL 60064. Job Description: $25 - $27/hour Maintains, calibrates, services, troubleshoots and repairs measuring and test equipment (M&TE), analytical laboratory equipment, and process control systems used in manufacturing, quality assurance, research and development and plant utilities areas. May be required to work on a variety of electrical, electronic, mechanical, process control systems, optical types, and or analytical laboratory equipment of M&TE. Develop techniques as necessary to ascertain that newly acquired or developed M&TE performs in accordance with required specifications. Assists in establishing and documenting appropriate job plans, data sheets, and other service protocols that may be required. Ensures that GxP and safe work policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all times in accordance with established company policies. Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent. Must have some metrology/calibration experience. Maximo experience will be trained but experience in a similar system is highly preferred. Steel toed shoes needed – lift up to 50 lbs. – occasional use of ladders (need to be relatively comfortable with heights). Good Time Management Skills, Communication Skills, Troubleshooting Skills. Comfortable With Using Basic Hand Tools.
