We are Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB). Our General Liability Practice Group in Memphis defends general liability claims for employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insureds. We are seeking Tennessee-licensed attorneys with experience in General Liability defense to join our Memphis office. This role is ideal for individuals with 3-10 years of experience who specialize in defending auto, premises liability, and professional liability including medical malpractice and long-term care. Our team is dedicated to moving cases through the legal system while vigorously defending our clients' interests in court, with a focus on excellence, diversity, and innovation.
Compensation Base pay range
$100,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr. This range is provided by Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.
Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.
Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
What You'll Bring / Qualifications
Admitted to practice in the State of Tennessee.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.
Excellent research abilities and strong written and oral communication skills.
Draft and respond to discovery-related motions.
Regularly attend court appearances.
Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
Draft motions for summary judgments.
