We are seeking caring, reliable, and proactive
Healthcare Assistants (HCA)
to join our dedicated Medical Centre team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the health and wellbeing of pupils within a busy boarding school environment.
The Role Working closely with our nurses and paramedics, you will
Assist in providing high‑quality care to pupils who are unwell or recovering.
Support with medical and administrative tasks such as patient observations, booking appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
Escort pupils to hospital appointments when needed.
Ensure the Medical Centre is clean, well‑stocked, and welcoming.
Help prepare and serve meals for in‑patients.
Promote a calm, supportive environment for pupils receiving care.
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
Compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working with young people.
Organised and able to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
A strong communicator and team player with good IT skills.
Flexible and adaptable, willing to work some evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Essential
GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths
Current driving licence
Desirable
Basic First Aid qualification
Previous experience in a healthcare or care setting
