This position will lead and direct the development of water/wastewater projects as a client-facing project manager, leveraging the candidate’s experience in water distribution system, wastewater collection system, pump/lift station, water/wastewater treatment facility, and stormwater management engineering including investigations, studies, analysis, design, and construction administration services. Clients will primarily be in local/state government sector, however some clients may be in the privately owned utility sector. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the planning, design, and construction administration of projects to ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations. Preparation of exhibits, drawings, draft specifications, and bidding documents. Computer drafting and/or design of subdivisions. Preparation of permits. Communicate with project teams establishing goals, and objectives for project teams, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to performance expectations. Perform work in accordance with the firm’s standards for projects and project process. Work directly with clients to determine needs and deliver solutions and lead the growth of client relationships with target clients including local Municipalities. Support teams in the marketing and proposal phases of projects including preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations, as well as developing scopes of work and budgets for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Job Requirements
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) License Minimum 10 years of water/wastewater and stormwater experience
