We are seeking a
Solar Permitting & Sales Support Coordinator
who will manage the full permitting and incentives process, support our sales recruiting efforts, and provide administrative office support for daily solar operations. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented mindset, a proactive work style, and an engaging, personable approach to recruiting and team interaction. Key Responsibilities
Permitting, Incentives, and ICX Applications
Prepare and submit permit applications for residential and commercial solar projects across NJ and neighboring states. Manage and track incentive applications (state SREC/REC programs, federal and state rebates, financing applications). Oversee ICX (interconnection) applications with utilities, ensuring accurate submission and timely approvals. Communicate with AHJs, utilities, and customers to resolve permitting and interconnection issues. Maintain a permitting and ICX tracker to ensure deadlines are met. Sales Rep Recruiting & Screening
Identify and source potential solar sales representatives through job postings, networking, and industry platforms. Bring an
engaging and approachable personality
to connect with candidates, making Divine Solar an attractive opportunity. Conduct initial candidate screenings and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Assist in building a strong, motivated sales team aligned with company goals. Maintain recruitment pipelines and provide weekly updates on candidate flow. Office & Administrative Support
Coordinate and maintain project documentation, including contracts, designs, and customer communications. Support scheduling for site surveys, inspections, and installations. Assist with AR follow-up calls, contract processing, and CRM updates. Prepare weekly status reports for management on permits, incentives, and recruitment. Provide general administrative support to the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. Qualifications
Previous experience in the solar or construction industry, preferably in permitting or interconnection. Knowledge of NJ solar incentives, ICX requirements, and municipal permitting processes. Experience using Aurora or other solar design platforms strongly preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a naturally engaging personality to connect with candidates. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms (Service Titan, Zoho, or similar). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively. Compensation & Benefits
