Telemetry Technician – Part Time Evening + Weekends & Holidays – NYP-Queens
Join us at NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital to support patients by monitoring their heartbeat, observing ECG patterns, and alerting nursing staff to arrhythmias.
Responsibilities
Monitor ECG and EKG patterns of telemetry patients.
Notify nurses and physicians of arrhythmias or changes.
Document cardiac activity and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate closely with nursing leaders to manage telemetry patients.
Shift Details Part‑time evening (22.5 hrs/week) shift from 3 PM to 11 PM at NewYork‑Presbyterian/Queens Hospital. Every weekend required for the first two years.
All roles require on‑site presence. Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.
Required Criteria
High School diploma or GED.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Completed EKG/Arrhythmia certification program.
Working knowledge of telemetry procedures, supplies/equipment, and aseptic techniques.
Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $26.66–$28.95 per hour.
