Overview We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Portal and Custom App Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom portals and applications on the ServiceNow platform. This includes creating user-friendly interfaces, customizing portal widgets, developing workflows, and integrating with existing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities Plan, design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow portals and applications. Create user-friendly interfaces and customize portal widgets. Develop workflows and integrate with existing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a focus on portal and custom app development

Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, workflows, and integration

Proficiency in JavaScript (client-side and server-side), Bootstrap, AngularJS, Java/J2EE, HTML, CSS

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Desired Skills

Knowledge of ServiceNow APIs, including REST and SOAP

Experience with Employee Center capabilities

Experience with Angular, CSS, and Jelly

Experience with ServiceNow Mobile

Experience with Now Experience Workspaces

Familiarity with CSM, ITSM, CSDM and CMDB

Experience with Agile development methodologies

Experience with testing and debugging techniques, including unit testing and integration testing

Standard Job Description Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
