Job Overview
ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full‑time entry‑level or early‑career architectural historian to join our Northern California cultural team.
Responsibilities
Conduct literature and records searches
Participate in field work
Conduct archival research
Prepare historic contexts
Apply National Register criteria to evaluate architectural resources
Prepare architectural history components of NHPA and CEQA technical reports
Document architectural resources on California DPR 523 records and Historic American Building Survey (HABS), Historic American Engineering Record (HAER), and Historic American Landscape Surveys (HALS)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Minimum requirements include a Master of Arts (or completed M.A. coursework with nearly completed degree) in History, Public History, Architecture, Architectural History, or a closely related field. Prefer 1–2 years of experience. The position is based in our Rocklin office. Regional travel is required, mostly within Northern California.
Salary and Benefits Base full‑time annual salary range: $50,000–$70,000. Starting salary is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications/permits, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.
