The Role You’ll Contribute Responsible for overseeing the continual operation of a specified nursing unit to ensure high‑quality patient care and services. Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines.
Responsibilities
Coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical nursing team.
Monitoring quality of care delivered; administering medications and treatments per prescriptions.
Managing resources and ensuring stewardship.
Acting as a change agent; implementing necessary changes with the Manager/Director.
Maintaining respectful relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other contacts.
Value to the Team
Perform venous access procedures, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments.
Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s of Nursing.
Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS).
Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS).
