Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for precision metal parts Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools Adjust offsets, tooling, and programs to maintain part quality Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines run efficiently Collaborate with engineers and toolmakers on continuous improvement Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
3+ years of CNC machining experience (milling or turning) Familiarity with G-code, tooling setup, and machine operation Strong understanding of tolerances and metal machining principles Ability to read blueprints and inspection documents Experience with aluminum components or high-speed production a plus High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical training preferred
