Our client, a manufacturing and industrial services provider, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk with Forklift to join their team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Stockroom Clerk with Forklift
Location: Shippensburg, PA
Pay Range: $18 to $20 an hour
Shift: 1st shift
What's the Job?
Receiving, identifying, storing, and distributing a variety of raw materials, parts, and assemblies
Using a forklift to transfer, transport, and store materials including steel plates, purchased parts, and subassemblies
Picking material orders based on system-generated pick lists, sales orders, and purchase orders
Documenting shortages and defective materials, and forwarding information to relevant teams
Maintaining a clean and organized work area following 5S practices and safety regulations
What's Needed?
Ability to operate a forklift and other powered industrial vehicles
Knowledge of inventory management and material handling procedures
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Willingness to participate in shop improvement projects
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
