Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer with a strong background in cloud-native services and insurance domain expertise.
The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with hands-on knowledge of AWS services, microservices architecture, and Guidewire or Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems.
Key Responsibilities Triage and resolve issues within AWS native services such as S3, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, SQS, and SNS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance Guidewire-based applications or other P&C insurance platforms. Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to support application functionality. Utilize monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk for system observability and troubleshooting. Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes or OpenShift. Use AWS build tools including Jenkins and Maven for CI/CD automation. Required Qualifications
8–10 years of overall experience in software engineering. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EC2, SQS, SNS). Experience with Guidewire or solid understanding of the P&C insurance domain. Proficiency in developing microservices using Spring Boot, Python, or Node.js. Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL. Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk. Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in the insurance industry, particularly with Guidewire platforms. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, agile development environment.
