Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Inspector will perform in-process and final inspections, evaluating parts against specifications. This role requires a thorough understanding of inspection methods and a commitment to supporting the manufacturing process in compliance with the Quality Policy and AS 9100 standards. The position reports to the Quality Lead and receives daily direction from the shift Lead.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprint and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) requirements.
Comply with customer specifications and requirements.
Use inspection gauges such as micrometers, test indicators, Faro Arm, and optical comparator.
Conduct inspections using CMM machines and coordinate systems.
Complete in-process and final inspections as required.
Make mold castings and interpret results using an optical comparator.
Perform visual inspections for defects and UVCs.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including inspection and CMM report reviews.
Essential Skills
Experience in reading blueprints.
Experience with inspection gauging and visual inspections, preferably in aerospace.
Experience in manufacturing, including document control and job operations.
Proficiency with coordinate measuring machines/systems; experience with Faro Arm is a plus.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for documenting inspection results.
General computer knowledge.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with reading and interpreting GD&T.
Aerospace experience is preferred.
Available Shift & Pay
5am-5pm (Monday-Thursday), $21-$30 based on experience
5pm-5am (Monday-Thursday), $25.20-$36 based on experience
