Summary/Objective
The Raw Milk Receiver tests, unloads, and washes all incoming tankers. Maintains records for all storage tanks while keeping work area clean and sanitary.
Responsibilities Tests all incoming milk AS per LPs. Maintains accurate records. Unloads all raw milk in a sanitary manner. Cleans all empty tankers to meet sanitary requirements. Cleans all pipelines to meet sanitary requirements as per SSOPs. Responsible for the sanitation of cream bowl and OJ processing equipment as per SSOPs. Responsible for some pasteurized CIP activities Maintain sanitation of the equipment as per SSOPs. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Must participate in annual split sample program and pass. Performs miscellaneous tasks and assist others as needed. Give breaks to machine operators. Responsible for food safety as well as product quality as presented during GMP training, HACCP training, SQF training, FSMA training and Chemical/Sanitation training. Be alert to any suspicious activities as per the 1st ALERT training video. Responsible for Receiving, Sanitation and Quality records as assigned. Preferred Education and Experience
No specific experience/education required; GED preferred. Read, write, and comprehend English. Basic math skills are needed. Maintain Sampler certification as per PDA regulations. Maintain Appendix N certification as per PDA regulations. Possess the ability to effectively do more than on job at a time Be able to coordinate schedules and jobs with others. Ability to learn responsibilities of the Machine Operators in order to give breaks. Ability to learn responsibilities of the Pasteurized Sanitation Operator in order to perform those activities.
