Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant - Boutique Dog Resort in West LA
The Wags Club, a premier cage-free dog daycare and boarding resort in Santa Monica/West L.A., is seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our front office team. We provide an upscale, resort-style experience for our canine clients, and we're looking for someone who can deliver equally exceptional service to their owners.
What You'll Do: Serve as the first point of contact for clients - greeting them warmly and managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently. Handle daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, payments, and client record maintenance. Manage phones, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail. Give facility tours and explain our daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Assist management with daily coordination between the front desk and daycare operations. Maintain a clean, well-organized front office environment. Contribute to social media updates showcasing our happy clients and their pups.
Qualifications: Minimum one year of experience in customer service or office administration (hospitality or animal care experience preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $18-$20/hour, depending on experience. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available after the probationary period. Free daycare or boarding for your own dog. Opportunities for advancement within a growing, respected brand.
