We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable & Harness Inspector to support our team in Denton, TX.
This is a full-time, first-shift position working 4-5 days per week.
There is also the opportunity for overtime and weekend work. Key Responsibilities:
Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections at one or more client suppliers in Denton, TX Ensure products meet quality and specification standards Verify safety wire orientation, correct turns, and pigtails as per specifications Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number, etc.) Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects Interpret manufacturing drawings and identifying non-conformances Periodically verify accuracy and ensure productivity to meet production schedules Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized Required Qualifications:
Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods Familiar with IPC-A-620 standards Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cable and Harness Inspector/Assembler in electronic manufacturing or related fields Ability to read schematics, assembly drawings, and identify wiring components Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC) Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills >
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified or previously certified in IPC-A-620 Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering Preferred: 5 years of experience, with 2 years as a Cable and Harness Inspector
$30 - $35 an hour
Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.
