The Level II NDE Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: Perform Level IIradiographic inspectionsto inspect materials, components, and structures for defects or irregularities. Set up and operate radiographic equipment in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards, while producing quality radiographs. Adhere to quality control procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Document test results, including writing reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections. Collaborate with management to assure that testing procedures are meeting project requirements. Manage long term projects effectively and professionally by communicating with customer/client representatives and management to effectively meet established deadlines. Participate in training programs to stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in radiographic testing. Responsible for guidance and on-the-job training oftrainees and assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures, and thecompany's written practice. Perform additional NDE service methods like MT, PT and UTT. Must be ableand willing to travel in the event support is needed in other regions. Current or previously certified in accordance with SNT-TC-1A Level II RT, MT, PT and UTT methods. Fluent in manual film processing. Strong with applicable welding codes, i.e. ASME, API, AWS, etc. List of projects managed as a Level II Radiographer. Required to pass Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures; Required to pass Level II testing methods upon hire to perform job duties. SNT-TC-1A/ACCP Level II MT, PT, UT Certifications, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of MT, PT, UT & RT. Successfully passing Company's Level II MT, PT and UT certification process; High School Diploma, GED, and/or advanced education.
