Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and procurement operations, is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Supply Chain department supporting collaboration with Warehouse, Distribution Center, Accounts Payable, Quality Team, and IT. Shift: Monday - Friday, start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, finish times between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM, with 1 hour for lunch. Hybrid work arrangement with 4 days onsite and 1 day WFH (usually on Friday).
Ensure accurate entry and management of advanced shipping notifications (ASNs) within the JDE supply chain system.
Compare purchase orders with packing lists to verify shipping details and identify discrepancies.
Communicate with suppliers to follow up on shipping information and resolve issues promptly.
Collaborate with procurement, IT, and other departments to troubleshoot system errors and improve processes.
Support administrative tasks related to purchase order management and supply chain visibility enhancements.
High school diploma or GED required.
~2-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Warehouse, or Customer Service roles preferred.
~ Proficiency with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
~ Opportunity to contribute to improving supply chain efficiency and plant on-time delivery.
Potential for a 12-month assignment with the possibility of converting to a full-time role.
Development of skills in procurement and ERP systems like JDE Oracle.
