ManpowerGroup is hiring: Manufacturing Test Engineer in Fort Lauderdale

Manpower Engineering is partnering with a successful global manufacturer of commercial and residential HVAC components and systems that is currently hiring for a Manufacturing Test Engineer who will work hands-on as the go-to expert for testing and programming operations-troubleshooting issues, supporting end-of-line testing, and helping drive improvements that keep production running efficiently and products meeting quality standards.

• *Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer**
• *Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL**
• *Pay Range: $90,000-95,000**
• *What's the Job?**

• First escalation point of contact for testing and programming operations: Conducting Leak Tests, Final Run Tests, Motor Programming, and Controller Programming.
• Communicate with end of line test associates to provide quick support to guarantee daily production targets.
• Support proper operation and maintenance of testing and programming equipment on all assembly and support lines.
• Assure accessories used for testing operation are available for immediate replacement if necessary: Thermocouples, control cables, power plugs ...
• Troubleshoot failures of heat pumps and test equipment to locate root cause and provide resolution.

**What's Needed?**

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• 3+ years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
• Ability to use piping schematics, electrical wiring diagrams and work instructions to ensure unit compliance with quality standards and engineering design.
• Experience troubleshooting test equipment, control systems, and product performance issues in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing test programs - an understanding of how electrical components work together.
