Our client, a leader in manufacturing machinery, is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the assembly and testing of advanced machinery used in the woodworking industry . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail and quality, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• *Job Title:** Manufacturing Assembly Technician
• *Location:** Poughkeepsie, NY
• *Pay Range:** $20-22
• *Shift:** Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM (4 ten-hour days) | Friday 6:00 AM-Noon (OT optional)
• *What's the Job?**

• Assemble machinery and subcomponents of machinery, integrating electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions
• Pull and prepare parts from inventory for upcoming builds
• Make adjustments, alignments, and minor repairs to ensure optimal machine operation
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and enhance build quality

**What's Needed?**

• Strong mechanical ability, with experience in fixing engines, small equipment, or home projects
• Confidence in using hand and power tools accurately and safely
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or technical drawings
• Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship
• Problem-solving skills and a desire to improve processes
