As an Accounting Clerk, you will play an essential role in supporting day-to-day financial activities. From maintaining accurate accounting records to processing transactions, your work will ensure the smooth functioning of organizational finances. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry to record and update financial transactions.
- Assist in reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Manage and file accounting and financial records systematically.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to address financial inquiries or discrepancies.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with accounting practices and policies.
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeper, or Accounts Assistant.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High school diploma required; an associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
