Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $135,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Real estate and/or public accounting experience preferred.
• Good understanding in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, MRI).
• Strong understanding of GAAP. and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
