Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. This is an onsite role in Denver with a hybrid schedule. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $115,000 per year.

- Facilitate communication between field teams and accounting to ensure accurate financial data sharing and reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Oversee key accounting functions, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Prepare and present financial data at monthly division reviews, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement financial policies, streamline accounting processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in commercial construction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in job costing, general ledger management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate financial performance and support decision-making.
- Maintain excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple financial projects and deadlines.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Apply knowledge of ERP systems to improve accounting accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exhibit leadership qualities with the ability to manage accounting teams and provide mentorship.
- Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives.
