Accounting Manager Job at Century Group in Northridge

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an onsite Accounting Manager in the San Fernando Valley. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile revenue daily
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• General accounting functions including accruals, prepaid and amortization, recording journal entries, account reconciliations preparation, and fixed assets
• Provide technical support and advice within the company
• Assist in preparing financial statements and other reports of metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements:

• Ability to use sound business judgment and have strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages (Sage Intacct or Dynamics GP)
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
