Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and the maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Assist with reconciling accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices and support vendor and customer communications to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain and organize physical and digital financial records for easy access.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing reports and verifying data accuracy.
- Assist with audit preparation and provide relevant documentation to auditors when requested.
- Help identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- High school diploma (required); associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (preferred).
- Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
