Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in the twin cities southeast suburbs. In this role, you will support various accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end closing activities. - Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate general ledger records.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 100, and QuickBooks for financial tasks and record-keeping.
- Maintain and update financial data in spreadsheets using advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Support the accounting team in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and adherence to deadline
- Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 100, and QuickBooks.
- Strong skills in processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of general ledger and journal entry processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
