Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who is thorough and skilled in their work. The client is expanding and needs an Accounting Clerk that is organized and can manage a busy workload. Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions accurately.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate accounting.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings (e.g., VAT, corporate tax returns).
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting to support business goals.
- Audit Preparation: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial data.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management to support decision-making.
- Record Maintenance: Ensure that all accounting records are accurate, up-to-date, and securely maintained.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years experience
