Century Group is hiring: Accounting Manager in San Leandro

Century Group has partnered with an affordable housing company who is seeking an Accounting Manager talent. This is an onsite position located in Walnut Creek that is bartable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $115,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Is the face of the corporation before public bodies, as needed, with help from the President and other staff as needed
• Day-to-day general ledger accounting activities, monthly reconciliation process, and month-end close draw process, as well as tracking and paying invoices
• Work closely with project managers and will gain a working knowledge of construction deals and financing from an accrual or GAAP perspective as necessary by public and private lenders and investors

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

• Background in affordable housing and construction
