We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client in Jersey City, New Jersey. The successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions while demonstrating expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation. Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. - Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. - Conduct financial statement audits and collaborate with external auditors as needed. - Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively. - Prepare and review journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. - Analyze profit and loss statements, providing insights into financial performance. - Coordinate with e-commerce and retail partners to ensure accurate financial tracking. - Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounting function. - Mentor and guide entry-level accounting staff, fostering skill development. - Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals.
