Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Supervise and develop a team of accountants, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Deliver detailed financial reports to leadership, ensuring GAAP compliance.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and respond to audit findings.
- Drive improvements in financial systems and reporting processes.
- Assist in budget creation and perform variance analysis.
- Partner with HR, IT, and operations to support strategic decisions.
- Oversee tax compliance across federal, state, and local levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
