- Supervise and mentor a team of four accounting professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Lead financial statement audits, coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance.
- Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support organizational scaling.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align accounting goals with company objectives.
- Drive team development by identifying strengths, addressing gaps, and offering training opportunities.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls and adherence to financial regulations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting leadership roles, preferably managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with financial statement audits and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in journal entry preparation and review.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize accounting processes and implement operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
