Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and optimize key financial operations within our organization. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes while supporting cross-functional teams. - Supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions such as revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management.
- Manage the complete accounts payable process, including vendor record maintenance and processing payments via various methods such as checks and wires.
- Oversee payroll processing for multiple locations, collaborating with HR and operations teams to ensure compliance and precision.
- Administer employee expense reimbursement and purchasing card programs, providing training and support to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to financial close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Maintain lease and rent schedules, ensuring timely tracking and payment obligations across operating locations.
- Implement and uphold internal controls, standardizing workflows to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to deliver financial insights and reporting that support operational and strategic goals.
- Manage tax-related documentation, including W-9s and 1099s, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of internal control practices and compliance standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and other accounting systems.
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and consolidated financials.
- Proven ability to analyze and improve processes across departments.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused and team-oriented mindset.
- Capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
