CGP: Accounting Clerk Job at Century Group in East Rancho Dominguez

Century Group is excited to share a great opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients in the manufacturing industry. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $26 to $27 per hour.

Job Description:

• Gather, review and prepare invoices with 3 way-matching process of vendor purchase orders.
• Verifies accounts by reconciling vendor statements against AP Aging monthly.
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Support Accounting team with audits, ad hoc analysis and projects.
• Invoices shipments from prior day for both locations, emails/mails invoices to customers.
• Preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Respond timely to vendor and customer inquiries.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Experience:

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
• Label Traxx knowledge helpful, but not required
