A municipal entity in Oakland seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their collaborative legal team. This is an exciting long-term contract opportunity offering stability, meaningful public-sector work, and a flexible hybrid schedule. As a Litigation Secretary, you will play a key role in supporting multiple attorneys within a pool system. You'll manage complex litigation matters, ensure compliance with court deadlines and rules, and keep cases moving efficiently from discovery through trial. Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents + Coordinate responses to inquiries, transcribe dictation, and manage general administrative tasks 5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys, preferably in civil litigation + Expertise in e-filing and case management for complex litigation matters + Experience with iManage document management system + Government/Municipal experience is great to have!
