Position includes a variety of responsibilities and requires ability to multi-task and handle interruptions. Provide professional administrative support for department faculty, temporary faculty, staff, and students. Administrative support for faculty includes, but is not limited to, formatting documents, scheduling meetings, copying, answering procedural questions, purchasing items, reserving rooms, and assisting with various business forms. Department level support includes, but is not limited to, answering the phone and emails, arranging student visits, coordinating committee and program meetings and writing minutes. This position will assist with instructional related tasks including, but not limited to, ordering textbooks and course materials, tracking undergraduate program applications and admission criteria, preparing admission letters, enrollment reports, maintaining advising sheets, and grade submissions. This position will maintain spreadsheets and program data by setting up and entering data, pulling reports, and assisting faculty and students with questions. This position provides administrative support for awards which includes collecting and submitting awards materials, tracking awards decisions, schedule and prepare documents for meetings, draft letters, as needed. This person will also hire, train and supervise student workers who support daily operations of the clinic resource room. Other duties as assigned.
