My client is a top Multifamily builder in the Midwest with a pipeline of over $800M. This is an excellent opportunity to sit on a leadership team of a top ENR 100 company in the Midwest. This person needs to promote a collaborative atmosphere and be a true team player.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to develop project specific timelines and budgets
  • Management of project specific schedule during preconstruction through completion
  • Create your own team of Project Managers and Superintendents for all projects
  • Manage and negotiate terms of agreements, drafting of contracts to analyze and mitigate risk
  • Develop and maintain all financial for projects
  • Attend all leadership meetings
  • Management and oversight of construction team projects to ensure they adhere to the project specific timeline and budget constraints
  • Provide regular review of construction team project progress to ensure safety and proper development
  • Be involved in hiring decisions
  • Win new work as necessary

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Leader:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of construction experience as a Project Manager
  • Proven experience leading a team of Project Managers
  • Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills
  • Great time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to solve complex construction and communication issues
  • Multifamily, Mixed-use and wood framed experience highly preferred
