Overview
Labcorp is dedicated to helping people live happy and healthy lives. We are looking for a Phlebotomist to work in our Patient Service Center, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collection, and representing the company.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with rotational Saturdays 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Work Location
Howell, NJ.
Pay Range
$16.00 – $24.00 per hour.
Incentives
Eligible for PST Incentive Plan, a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Enter patient information accurately and timely.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency, or prior experience as a phlebotomist.
- Proven track record of exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
