Pride Health is hiring a “Phlebotomist I” to support our client’s medical facility-based “North Miami Beach FL 33169”. This is a 5-months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Pay rate: $17.75-$19.75/hr
Duration: 5-6 months
Shift: Monday- Friday, 7am-3pm, every Saturday until converted to Quest employee, 6:30am-11am
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:
- Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
- Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
- Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
- Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Experience
- 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
- 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
- Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
- Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
