Duties
Warehouse and Material Handlers are critical to our success at Frito‑Lay. They perform a variety of typical warehouse duties, including handling and moving material around our warehouse, supporting equipment, and maintaining a clean environment. These tasks may include:
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers
- Pick appropriate cases according to order using required technology
- Safely operate a forklift after training, and obtain certification
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer
- Maintain general housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required
Qualifications
We operate 24/7, so schedules may include weekends, holidays, and off‑shift hours. This physical role requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift. Minimum qualifications include:
- 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and off‑shift hours
- Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, stretch, and handle products for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness and ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
- Willingness and ability to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
