Recruiter - Job Description

Job Title: Recruiter/HR Generalist

Status: Exempt - Full Time

Department: Human Resources

Reporting To: Director of Human Resources

Location: Howell, NJ Location (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,0000

Job Summary:

The Recruiter/HR Generalist will oversee the full recruiting life cycle and provide support, as needed, for overall HR operations and administration. Develop recruiting plans and innovative sourcing strategies to identify high caliber candidates, conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, and manage requisition status to ensure an efficient recruitment and onboarding process. Build strong relationships internally and externally to support Sola's goals and values throughout recruitment and HR administration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment (75%)

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle - source and screen candidates, coordinate and conduct interviews, extend offers, complete reference/background checks, conduct new hire orientations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and senior management to determine and document current and future hiring needs. Including crafting and keeping all job descriptions accurate and current.
  • Coordinate approval for new requisitions, work with hiring managers to gain knowledge of open role and agree to sourcing strategies and timelines.
  • Source qualified candidates through various methods, including posting ads and searching job sites, working with recruitment agencies, networking, referrals, and job fairs.
  • Maintain candidate information up to date in a timely, detailed manner using internal ATS.
  • Guide and support candidates throughout recruitment process and manage expectations.
  • Negotiate compensation packages, prepare offer letters, and communicate offers.
  • Manage new hire onboarding logistics and paperwork (IT setup, I9 verification, W4, etc..).
  • Provide weekly reporting on open requisition status and progress.
HR Generalist (25%)
  • Work on ad-hoc HR projects and training
  • Assist with benefits and HR administration
  • Assist with employee relations and engagement
Requirements and Qualifications:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and four or more years of relevant Recruitment and Human Resources experience
  • Technical recruitment and Payments/Fintech industry experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of current employment laws
  • Proven ability to partner successfully with hiring managers and leadership across departments and levels
  • Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and HR Software (ADP Workforce Now)
  • Proficiency using job posting boards (LinkedIn, Indeed)
