Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role involves supporting key accounting functions, including data migration, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to managing financial data and ensuring accuracy in high-volume tasks. Responsibilities:
- Transfer and organize financial data between systems to ensure seamless integration.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor setup and invoice coding.
- Support accounts receivable functions by reconciling balances and processing payments.
- Perform high-volume data entry with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in migrating fixed asset information into Harmony software.
- Process invoices accurately, adhering to company standards.
- Maintain and update customer and client records during the data migration process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions and resolve discrepancies.
- Verify and audit financial data entries to uphold data integrity.
- Generate reports as needed to support accounting operations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in data entry and financial data management.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and coding.
- Ability to handle high-volume invoicing tasks efficiently.
- Experience with data migration and integration processes.
- Knowledge of Harmony software or similar accounting systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
