- Be the go-to leader for full-cycle accounting - from AP/AR to payroll, GL, and reconciliations.
- Own month-end close: keep it accurate, fast, and clean, then hand off to the Financial Reporting Manager for final statements.
- Lead all things project accounting and billing, making sure revenue recognition and cost tracking are rock solid.
- Partner with operations and project teams to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and insightful.
- Supervise and mentor your team - set direction, hold accountability, and help people grow.
- Maximize ERP and systems: use technology to simplify processes and make reporting smarter.
- Build and enforce strong accounting operations policies and internal controls.
- Support audits and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
- Continuously look for ways to work smarter, not harder by improving processes and workflows.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- CPA (required).
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3+ years managing people.
- Strong expertise in accounting operations, project accounting, and project billing.
- Proven success running month-end close and producing accurate results under tight deadlines.
- ERP and systems savvy - you know how to leverage technology to streamline accounting.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills; you're as comfortable coaching a team as you are deep in the details.
- A balance of analytical mindset and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
- Experience in construction, engineering, or other project-based industries.
- Knowledge of WIP schedules, cost controls, and revenue recognition.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations or systems upgrades.
