What You Will Do
- General and final cleanup.
- Distribution and cleanup of power hand-tools, extension cords, and generators.
- Perform dewatering activities; set up water pumps and hoses.
- Manual moving of formwork, lumber, rebar, and material/accessories.
- Hand excavation and backfill.
- Hand grade sub‑base.
- Place vapor barrier and board insulation.
- Tie rebar.
- Place concrete from truck, pump, bucket, buggy, conveyor, etc.
- Rake, screed, edge, and broom finish concrete.
- Vibrate concrete.
- Place concrete blankets.
- Strip, wreck, clean, and oil formwork.
- General and selective demolition of masonry, drywall, plaster, partitions, ceilings, and finishes of all types.
- Use demolition tools such as jackhammer, air tools, sledgehammer, etc.
- Use cutoff saw.
- Use a cutting torch.
- Other tasks as directed by supervisor.
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial construction.
- Reliable transportation.
- Be willing to work within a 50‑mile radius.
- Ability to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions.
