Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed School Psychologist (K-12) to provide specialized support at the middle and high school levels. This role starts on August 12, 2025, and concludes on May 21, 2026, serving a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week, five days per week, within a high school setting in Lenexa, KS.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with varied disabilities
Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Monitor student progress, behavior, and mental health needs to provide timely and effective interventions
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support services planning
Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications
Valid Licensed School Psychologist certification for grades K-12 is required
Experience working with students in middle and high school age groups
Strong skills in conducting assessments for a diverse caseload of approximately 195 students with disabilities
Ability to work independently without the support of paraprofessionals
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
