Public Safety Resilience Behavioral Health Specialist

The Public Safety Resilience Behavioral Health Specialist is involved in all aspects of wellness promotion, crisis intervention, crisis support and behavioral health counseling services for public safety personnel and their immediate family members. Our office is located in Manassas, VA. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of evidence-based treatment experience Must be a Virginia licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed psychologist, or licensed psychiatrist. Preferences
The successful candidate will: Master's degree 3+ years experience in the development and provision of training and the provision of evidence-based treatment, including EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, Gottman Relationship Tx, DBT Experience in providing training to public safety personnel Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated crisis intervention skills Special Requirements
Fire & Rescue Requirements: Effective October 2012, mandated by the Virginia State Board of Health 12VAC5-31-540, VA EMS Regulations require a criminal background check conducted by the Central Crime Records Exchange and the National Crime Information Center via Virginia State Police; and a driving record transcript from the individual’s state Department of Motor Vehicles. Must possess a valid Driver’s license NADA Auricular Acupuncture certification is required before the end of the employee’s one-year probationary period Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week Five days per week/Flexible work hours Some after hours and weekend hours required Starting Salary
Starting Salary Range: $106,499.26 - $121,836.00 Benefits
